Baseball Tournament (I finally got it to post)

On October 30th through November 1st i am going to Orange County for a baseball tournament. My team, the Danville Hoots, are going to play in the 2009 Fall Baseball Classic. We have been practicing every sunday for the past five sundays or so. We are going to fly out to orange county on the 30th of October. We do not have school that day so my family and i might leave early that morning and fly there so we will have time to see the sights. The team is going to stay in a Whyndham hotel for the tournament.

Our next practice is sunday and we are scrimmaging against EJ sports baseball club. I have never heard of them but i hope they will be good competition. Tomorrow i will not have much time to go to the batting cages or practice or anything because i will have the PSAT. It starts at nine o' clock in the morning so i hope it will not take up my whole day. After the PSAT i will get some swings in so i will be ready for the scrimmage game on sunday.

Im playing on this team though because i don't expect to get much playing time on AHS. This team i have so far gotten playing time and also if i make their summer team then i will have a good chance at a scholarship when applying to colleges. More than half of the kids on the Hoots have gotten scholarships to very good colleges. I would like to go to a Rank A college myself that is also another reason i am playing on this team. So hopefully the team does well during the baseball tournament, and good luck to the black team (the 19 and under team) because they have a tournament next friday in orange county.

  1. OK, you got credit for this and I'm glad you got the technical difficulty worked out. But PLEASE, ROBERTO. DO NOT CONTINUE TO MAKE ME ASK YOU TO WRITE IN PARAGRAPHS! It needs to be automatic in writing of this length; average about three paragraphs per post if it helps to think of a rule of thumb. This first step of organizing what you write is what most future improvements get built on...like I say, make it an automatic habit.
